|You know you want to buy something! :-D|
Oh, why not:
How long have you been on DeviantArt?
What does your username mean?
It's my real name. All the names I wanted to use were already taken and I got tired of trying to find one.
Describe yourself in three words.
driven, loyal, humorous
Are you left or right handed?
What was your first deviation?
What is your favourite type of art to create?
I try to try different methods, but I seem to be focusing more on photography now.
If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?
drawing on a tablet.
What was your first favourite?
What type of art do you tend to favourite the most?
Photography with fantasy elements
Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist?
A lot of faves don't seem to post on here anymore. scottchurch.deviantart.com/ is still pretty regular, and getting even better.
If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be?
Never really though about that.
How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?
I'm inspired by many to do better in my own own art.
What are your preferred tools to create art?
camera and computer, or good old pencils and ink.
What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?
I'm still trying to to create that space, sadly. Trying to find an affordable studio space, preferably a live-in one, in the Boston area has been a life-long frustration.
What is your favourite DeviantArt memory?
Any time I get a favorable comment on some artwork. I wish people would comment more and not just "like" things.
I have been artistically-inclined for as long as I can remember, and hope to remain so. Sadly I have not yet found a way to make it work for me financially, or at least enough to make me less dependent on day jobs, which would of course give me more time to be creative! I have barely a few hours a day to myself these days.
Another obstacle is atmosphere - ideally what I need is a quiet, live-in artist studio where I have the extra space for my art and photography. Unfortunately here in the Boston, MA area, this is so far financially out of reach. I fully intend to find it though!
Most of my current work is more photography-based, but I intend to learn both Illustrator and my Wacom tablet to get back into drawing and bring it more into the 21st Century. Usually I would scan my drawings and work from there. Really an unnecessary extra step these days if you think about it.
